I don't currently do either as I have no incubator nor a momma who wants to sit but my plan is to let momma sit...heck I'd let a rock sit on eggs if it could hatch them for me.

I am thinking I will have a servant clean the poop boards after each flight.



I am planning on a certain training period to get Carrie into the "suitable wife mode". I doubt that hockey guy she is married to now took the time needed to train her.

Do not get frustrated and give up if she ruins a few eggs, It took Ethel 3 tries before she sat the entire 28 days. The young ones seem to get bored or distracted the first few times.

Or crack all the eggs, and make the nest smell bad, and hatch only a few poults! Poults! I have a hen laying now,yes in winter, I'm thinking of incubating..........
