Well than congratulations on the new trophy.
Thank You, I am hoping to get her to leave her kid with her current hubby, I do not want diapers around me.

I don't currently do either as I have no incubator nor a momma who wants to sit but my plan is to let momma sit...heck I'd let a rock sit on eggs if it could hatch them for me.Chaos. ..I love Sweetgrass too! One of my favorites. I love that your considering more hens! Do you incubate or let moma brood?
Ralphie. .. how long will you be gone? I hate being gone from my birdd. Of course I don't think ANYONE can take as good care of them than me! A turkey jet...I can only imagine!
No I haven't seen them.Ralph, I'm assuming if Carrie is not turkey tolorant all bets are off.
Chaos, have you seen those flight suits for large fowl? Ralph could order a personalized one for each bird!

Or crack all the eggs, and make the nest smell bad, and hatch only a few poults! Poults! I have a hen laying now,yes in winter, I'm thinking of incubating..........Do not get frustrated and give up if she ruins a few eggs, It took Ethel 3 tries before she sat the entire 28 days. The young ones seem to get bored or distracted the first few times.
