A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I hope you can get it redone. My house in Ste. Genevieve was built in 1820. Log and timber frame. I restored it. It was a challenge but I really enjoyed it. I have a soft spot for old houses. Are you doing this yourself or will you get a contractor involved.

That's going to be a task. Luckily I found a guy here in Ste. Gen with experience working on historic homes. He did the bulk of the renovation. But I sure did my share! I enjoy working on the house. Fire is my worst nightmare with this place. It would be impossible to rebuild. Huge logs and framing. You can't even find those type of materials anymore. I hope things go well with the rebuilding. You need to keep us posted on your progress.

Feedman - Sorry to hear about the house fire :( I'm glad you're going to rebuild it - that is a lot of work, I hope it goes well :fl

Memphis - can't wait to see pics of Daisy her tutu and leg warmers. Turkules can probably be counted on for a picture in splints and bandages (maybe some crutches)

Must go out and install a chicken swing today - should be fun to see if they like it lol! That was a good thought about not installing one for Turkules - he would fall off it and hurt himself :/ Good grief - I didn't expect to have an accident-prone turkey. I should just wrap him in bubble wrap so he can't fall off anything and damage himself :th

Feisty. ..when you mentioned you might hang one for the turkeys, my first thought was for the safety of Turkulus!

I'm heading home to Memphis tomorrow. It's 57 degrees here in Missouri at 9pm. Just talked to my chicken sitter & it's 73 down in Memphis. I know I sound like a broken record, but this is such weird weather!

R2elk...last winter it got down into the teens in Memphis, just for a night or two. We thought we were dying.
