A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Holm...just love Mr. T!

We had beautiful weather here this weekend. Holm, my Daisy would do well at your place with the quacks. Can't kept that turkey from playing in the hose. Or out of a puddle. She loves water. I may have to get her a wading pool this summer. Annie, or my chickens, could care less about the hose. But when I pull it out ....Daisy comes running.:rolleyes:

Holm, Mr. T is a beautiful bird.

I got stuck at work for an extra 2 hours and 45 minutes

. I lost 2 poults and I know one would have been fine if I had gotten home sooner, maybe both. There were too many chicks bowling eggs around and they ended up wedged so they couldn't get out.

13 poults and 2 chicks, so far.

Sorry you lost 2.

Congratulations on the ones that have hatched.

Group shot, well some of them.

They're starting to explore. Pardon the poo.

One of the Speckled Sussex chicks. Up to 14 poults and 5 chicks.

Awwwe. The poults are so cute! I can't wait until we get our eggs and ours hatch. My chicks hatch on Friday. At least they are suppose to. I've had a hard time controlling the humidity. I'm hatching them at my work so the residents can watch them hatch and then I'll leave them in the brooder box for a week or two before I bring them home. They really enjoy watching them and tell stories of when they use to raise chickens.
