A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Thanks JR, but of course I think she's beautiful! Even if she's still growing in feathers. She will actually fall asleep in front of her fan.

Memphis she is beautiful!!

I am gonna try get some pics of Mr. T tomorrow. His tail is in and IMHO I am think he is looking better than he ever has! But he doesn't have any other males to Bicker with so his feathers aren't damaged lol.

Ralphie did Ethel show up?

Memphis- she's absolutely beautiful and even more so wroth her feathers blowing in the breeze. Is she trying to look her best for her photo shoot? Lol

Hubby and I had a surprise this morning. After taking the kids up to the bus stop and feeding the flock, I crawled back in bed (my normal routine). When we woke up and we're laying there talking, we heard this loud bang right outside the window. I looked and there's Cuddles standing on a ladder, you know, that spot where you rest the paint can. The ladder was there because we had a bunch of yellow jackets build a nest under the siding (yay, they were getting in our room and stinging us at night). Anyway, she must've heard us talking and decided to hop up and peek in the window lol. She's so social and will follow us all over the yard. I bet id the screen hasn't been there, she would've crawled right in the window.

There's been a new developement in Adam's sons. They won't seperate them and said that they're very bonded so it looks like I'll be bringing home both boys next weekend. That's fine. I'll have some time to decide which one I like best, which one looks best, and which has the best personality. It'll also help them with integration. I will feel bad when I finally do seperate them but that's the way it is. I only need 2 toms to carry on for next year. Maybe the one I choose will make friends with Romeo. Doubtful but who knows.

Memphis - Daisy is looking so pretty! I can't believe she sleeps in front of the fan lol.

Aurora - Can't wait to see pics of Adam's boys. Fingers crossed that they get along well with Romeo :fl. Too funny that Cuddles was on her way in to see you guys this morning :)

Holm - Definitely can't wait to see Mr T in his new feathers :D

I can't believe how dark Big Bird is now - they must fade a lot during the year, gradual enough that I just didn't notice.

the guy I got them from had a pen with about 30 that he hatched this year. said if I was interested in some young ones 15 a piece. I could choose ones I wanted. so if I chose right I came home with 4 young ones. that should all be hens.

if i don't lose any over winter will have 7 narri hens going into spring.
