A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

seems like we have been catching a rain every other day. just enough to keep it muddy and slow down corn harvest.

Will post pics after I get them home fri. but am getting a new trio of Narragansetts.

Ohhh! New turkeys! Always fun. They are beautiful. Im heading to Ste. Genevieve today. Light rain may be in the forecast.

Well Esther is all set to join 4 H now, and I heard that the grand champion turkey at the fair this year sold for... get ready... 600 dollars! It was a random broad breasted, there were probably only 5 or 6 kids entered in turkeys. They were all feed store turkeys, which is fine, but I think Esther has got next year clenched with her burbon reds. At least, I hope she does well. She is super excited.

Looks like Adam may just be thanksgiving dinner this year. I was browsing through the local livestock classifieds and happened to find 2 bourbon buff toms, about 7 months old. Turns out, they are Adam's sons. I will be picking one up hopefully next weekend. They are supposedly hand raised and friendly.

Daisy loves her fan.
