A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

So I noticed that many people that post in this thread have been BYC members for a long time, but don't have any of the greeter, friend, spirit, and educator badges. Do any of you nominate every month?

I'm on mobile so I don't see any of that. Not do I bother nominating. I doubt I'd get nominated for making a nuisance of myself

Well I'm glad no one is snowed in (yet).... It is pouring buckets here, but I refuse to complain loudly because "I don't have to shovel it" :).

Spent my evening lending a hand at a parrot rescue.... After listening to 140 parrots screaming, my birds (both indoors and out) are quiet and well-mannered loves! A crew of gobbling toms can't even come close to the noise a horde of cockatoos can make. Apparently it's all a matter of perspective :D

I think I have nominated 3 people... 2 for sure but i think 3. It's too much work...

Quick question for anyone. My turkey laid her first egg 4 days ago we have had 3 so far each getting bigger. Iv noticed a wee smudge of blood on the shell. Is this normal? I hope it's just her body getting used to laying. Any info would help thanks

Small smear of blood can be normal. Have you eaten one yet??

My neighbor/chicken sitter and I are fighting over Annie's eggs! We both love eating them! Daisy has not layed yet. Starting to wonder why not.

Boy was Annie vocal yesterday evening! Not sure what was going on with her. She was funny and obviously trying to tell me something. Would just stand in front of me yapping away. Loudly!

Well, I've actually nominated a handful of folks here. Once. I happened to notice one of Kathy's posts about nominaing...and nominated. I had no idea how folks got badges until I saw her post. But then I forgot about doing it again.
