A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Mine has a spot for the hatching tray but didn't come with one since I guess the lady that had it before me lost it so I never run it with it in.

Romeo is the only one I've ever seen with a white/blue head but it's never seemed to indicate aggression

Without JJ the whole dynamics have changed. I am not sure who's on first? Which one is the leader or anything. All I know is Sidekick is not going to be around long.

I don't know who I can trust, I have to watch my backside all the time right now. Not enjoying it.

It has been pouring buckets of rain here - I'm so tired of water (the birds are too). And Big Bird is thinking about being broody again, sigh. I'm lucky with her - at least she's nice about it. I ousted her from her nest box tonight and put her on the roost. She made unhappy fweeping noises at me, but wasn't mean about it. Their vocalizations amaze me - unhappy noises are so easy to distinguish from happy noises. Big Bird makes really nasal peeping noises when she is displeased (fweep lol). The last few times I've been able to discourage her broody mood early enough that she seems to get on with normal life after a few days. I have my fingers crossed that I caught her early!

I am enjoying everyone else's baby pics.... not planning for any babies here this year. Gonna live vicariously through you all :)

Stay safe JR. Sounds nasty.

Feisty...constant rain is such a bummer. On one hand I love it for my gardens but hate dealing with muddy, wet dogs. My turkeys & chickens dont mind at all. And I also just love all the different noises my turkeys make. They are so expressive.

Got a slow soaking rain yesterday here.

There were some heavy storms but stayed to the north.

It's plenty muddy now. I had intentions of building some hoop arches in the garden this weekend. That's out.

That dreaded long week at work starts next sunday. So I only have 2 days off out of the next 14 days. So garden gonna be a little late on a few things.

2 of my bourbons are now laying. And all 4 of my narris. Just 1 palm hen so far.

Jrnash: stay safe.

Feedman, I'm in Ste. Genevieve and we got a nice soak too. "They" kept warning of bad storms. Thankfully "they" were wrong.
