A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Feral cats are one of the worst predators there are and are very harmful to the native wildlife. Releasing captured feral cats is irresponsible.
Ok, I respect your opinion, I was just telling you about a program they do here in parts of Missouri and they reason they do it that way. Apparently they clip the ear tip off of a certain ear and then release them back where they were picked up. The study showed that there were fewer problems with the feral cat population and fewer feral cats because they weren't reproducing. They aren't doing this in my community as far as I know, but it is what they do about 45 minutes away from us. I wasn't trying to stir up any controversy.

I have a house in Ste. Genevieve. Just a little farther down 55.
We've lived here for about 10 years. I've had chickens since 2012 and just got 3 turkey poults a few weeks ago. All 3 are Bronze turkeys and it looks like I have 1 tom and 2 hens. So I've latched onto this thread to learn what I can about raising turkeys.
