A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I was just doing some quick bird math.....by the end of the week all totaled varieties should put me at over 450 birds of one type or another.
The Turkey hens are still sitting on eggs or rocks not really sure. They hiss like crazy when I get around them. Also started gathering blue and olive eggs to load another bator back up.

Knowing that God has a sense of humour ,it would not surprise me if the turkeys started hatching SOMETHING. I'm pretty well maxed out on my brooders. Tore the end out of the big one outside, stupid chicks refuse to come out!:he

So far around 18 of the bobwhites have hatched Freedman.I think 3 of them won't make it,they keep flipping onto their back:he Hillaire I'm fast running out of brooder AND pen room. I'm going to try and work on the pen Today. With all the rain its got me two blocked!!! The only thing that could make things WORSE is if my company called me BACK to work.

Congrats on your Bob's. That's a lot better than you were expecting.

Add to that,if the Turkeys manage to hatch something.....that would also increase the "worse factor!!"
I have 5 broody Turkey's on about 30 eggs.

I haven't rebuilt my baby pens since the tornado. Just my breeder pens. So I'll have to take the babies away if they hatch any. Turkey wrasslin to ensue. Lol
