Good job Annie. Her foot looks great.
Yeah Flashpoint, my girls aren't very ambitious foragers. Mine specialize in dust baths.
@memphis I had to snort at the very idea of dust baths. Since I have been living in the equivalent of a rain forest climate all summer with rain almost every other day, the dust has been practically non-existant. Mine DO enjoy their mud baths, though.
:D

Yes Ralphie. ..that about summarizes my girls too. I have a TON of debris strewn all over my yard, thanks to Harvey. Cleaning up with the girls in attendance is quite the challenge! Every time I pick something up (lots of tree debris) they want to take it from me. Or inspect the trash bag I stuff it in. Actually had to put the in their run just to get done without falling over one of them....
When I was working on the new shelter, I reach down for the hammer and one of my hens was standing on it and clearly did not want to let it go. They love to "help" and inspect.

Bet she was hissin at you wasn't she. Hahahahah. When our ladies of leisure are of a mood they hiss and then follow us round.... and hiss some more. :duc. It is most likely we are cleanin out their run and they want attentions and we are not givin it properly. Then ever night come bedtime it is a hissin contest. :lau

He saw I had the camera out and had to have his picture taken.
