Hope she is safe from predators
nice buck
Have you ever had a deer hit the 2x4 wire fence? My fence kept getting knocked askew and one day I found a doe with a broken neck.. a fence had been in the same spot since the '60's .. early fall a few yrs ago so figured the rut must have been early, cause a coyote would have had a snack
It happens. There used to be a doe here that couldn't jump the 6' fence so she would just keep jumping into the top of it until she could get on it enough to roll on over. The last time she did it was moments before I found her and escorted her back out. That cured her of getting in. The big bucks have no problem jumping a 6' fence but the fact that it keeps the does out gives them no incentive to jump in.

I miss the days when they would have their fawns in here and leave them for me to babysit but when they started going after 20+ year old trees, I banned them.

@casportpony Ralphie is right. It does not look like blackhead. In fact it looks more like Liver Fluke? What do you think? There was little worm things in the pockets?
I didn't think that poultry got liver flukes. Oviduct flukes, but not liver flukes, though I could be wrong. Please let me know what the name of a poultry liver fluke is so I can read about it.

Worm things in the pockets? What pockets? I'm kind of clueless.
