A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

He told me today that it was really bad for him the past two weeks, but today he's mad and ready to move back - even if it means living in a tent. lolol

lol! Mad is better than depressed... anger energy can be directed and used in a positive direction forward...
Onward, JR!!! You can do it! :thumbsup

@PolarBerry, welcome to the thread! Sounds like you've got quite a group! Most of us have been in a situation where our housing isn't ready on time. We think we have plenty of time to get it done but those babies grow super fast. When it comes to turkeys though, they imprint, majorly! They seem needy, but they actualy just love attention. I have 3 poults now, ranging from 8-12 ish weeks old that are due to go outside I'm just stalling. It's getting chilly at night and I'm not sure how well they'll do. I refuse to lose any more of them! They are so sweet though. Every time I open their brooder, they fly out to roost on my shoulders or to explore the room. This morning before breakfast, Pirate and Misty were playing tag, running and flying all over the screen porch, then "helped" me fill their food dish lol. They're such characters!

@Ravynscroft - I will let him know what you said. I also think he will be back, but he has sure had a bunch of double whammys over the two months. Right now, he's just trying to hang in there. :) Thank you!
I'm up for sending some birds his way as well, also not NPIP but I'm sure we can figure it out. When he's ready...

We could set up a bird restocking fund. When he is ready, of course. That goes for all bird friends, you guys, I would be glad to help out my poultry family when I am able!
That sounds like a good idea. Anyone have an idea on what restocking could cost to get him at least a basic start? I personally have no idea on turkey or CX meat birds (and if I even got that right) And how would we do it?
:thumbsup
