A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I would gladly take some of your rain if it would come to my area. It's been a heck of a fire season this year, we have lost well over a million acres. Smoke has been so thick, you'd think it was LA smog. Sorry if our fires are causing smoke in Minnesota, Ralphie.
I'd have to figure out what I could do, too. Money is very tight, but I could try my hand at other things, like I could ship eggs, or I have an extra little giant styrofoam incubator with the egg turner that still works.

I'm no longer walking through the upper pasture, I'm mud skiing :he

:lau
The one thing that is really nice about living on a sand dune is that no matter how wet it gets there is never any mud.

I live on a shale mountain and the ground is fine. It's everything else!

I walked down to check tomatoes - arms are now soaked to my shoulders. Same with the cucumbers. (drip drip dripping) I checked on the hickory nuts (debating picking up a bucket or two) - the trees peed on me AND conked me in the head.

Right now I would gladly and freely share it with you! lol. It has rained here A LOT all summer. But, I guess before I know it, it will be a ton of snow instead!!:hit

I'm with you, Bantam. Limited income, but I would surely come up with something.

He had turkeys, heritage and BB; quail, ducks, and his chickens. So there is room to play with all that. I'm sure I could go find turkey eggs at the very least!

Aww...R2elk.... after two blow offs from hurricanes I feel I could appreciate the sand!

I'd be willing to help the "re-stocking" effort. But since I run a turkey/chicken convent here it wouldn't be with birds. Wish some of us were closer...we could lend a hand rebuilding a coop. With so much devastation in that area, I'm betting manpower is at a premium.

You do realize that he is planning on a new house? Hint, hint to the architect.
