Bill and Candy are both BYC members.

That's terrible.

Maybe you should check around for birds, squirrels animals that aren't yours. Dinner will attack any living thing that comes to close to us, my Ducks or Yumyum and tares it to pieces then wants a can of vegetables. He will stand over it and gobble till he gets his treat.

Still no idea, but everyone looks okay and no one is missing.

Good to hear JR has poultry again even if it is pilfered....:lau:lau

Three of my tweens are out of the pasture again, hanging out with their younger siblings. Brats

Tweens are a pain. I have half a dozen inside a "fence" we put up to keep them off the new grass. The old ones seldom if ever crossed it. The Tweens think it is great grazing..

Yard rabbits while cool would be treated as a rodent here...Which could explain why I have no yard rabbits.

Life has returned to near normal here with the proper turkey in Prison. His inmate number is # 1123-2017....:drool

Ok, I have to confess to a panic attack today. I have about 25 red bronze going to freezer camp next week and as I went out to water the kids this afternoon, I found 8 in the lower pasture leaving (remember my eyes aren't so good anymore). Off into the woods they went. When I finally got close enough to see them, they weren't red bronze, they were bronze (aka sam's kids) they had no interest in meal worms and at the same time were not afraid of me in the least.

Thanks for the update :)
Hope he still has some good ones
He thinks many of them were dropped off by other people. I told him it was more likely that they just had no place to put them and just let them free range completely. Since they are flock animals, they all just happened to "flock" his place. :)

No idea how many came from his original group yet. Nor has there been a mention of any turkeys by wife and son. I hope some survived, but I just don't know.
