A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Under furniture. Add shelves in a closet. Behind the couch.

Closets are full and husband dislikes any clutter :th

Problem is we lack a garage and have a loooot of tools that are taking up a bedroom.

We really need a shop built so can reclaim some of the house.

We went from a 2500 sq ft house with 2 car garage and storage in every wall space and an attic and loft space and then moved to a 1700 ft double wide with no storage!

We sold off most of our stuff before moving buuut with tools, critters, and guest beds it's still a squeeze

I know of a wife like this. She is failing as I can clutter faster than she can hide my stuff.:thumbsup

Turkey pen in progress. Gives them just under 1000 sq ft of grassy area. So I'm sure they'll destroy it soon. Haven't installed the flight wire and the apron wire yet. Ran heavier wire across the tops from post to post as lattice work for the flight cloth and to cross-brace the poles. Husband said he wasn't buying more lumber for the birds so we made do

Turkeys are far easier on grassy areas than chickens are. For years i had only turkeys in the 50'x100' run. The grass grew great. Now that there are also chickens in there and there are holes and missing grass all over the place.

I have clipped a turkey's wing for the first time. He is the bully that I have in solitary.

There is an electric fence around the entire area. The grass inside the fence is getting taller. I need it cut. I decided to clip his wing and let him wander inside the fence. He will never fly again as he only has a month to live before "that fatefull day arrives". I doubt they will grow out in a month.

The best part is the Tom I wanted to add to the pen flew over the fence to be with this one. He is now living inside solitary....But if there are two in it, I guess it is Biatary and not solitary anymore.

He will find his wing clipt tomorrow. Clipping the wing is so much easier than mowing in there.

How old was he and how much did he weigh? Before he went down did you notice any problem walking or getting up?
He was 5, maybe 6 months old. He weighed about 19 pounds dressed out. The only problem I saw was the night before, when he didn’t want to get up to come in the coop, even to eat. Otherwise he was not having any problems.
