Well? Want reviews on everyone's turkey dinners!! I ate my sisters store bought. But hey....she does all the cooking so I'm not complaining!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful day! This is the end of our day. Lil bun boy has nestbox eye we think. So we had clean the gunk out and will get eye goo tomorrow for him. Although he was quite content bein the shoulder deco on the mister for a while. He particularly loved sniffin amd check out the beard. Hahahah.

Everyone said they loved ours. Even my cousin who said she wasn’t gonna eat it did and went back for more. Before they left she said she would take her chicken now. Lol! This comin from the goob who only eats white eggs.... goober. . Our bird this year were bb and we cannot wait til next year to have some heritage bird for the table instead.

We had Martha Washington's Turkey/Oyster stew yesterday and it was fabulous with one of our heritage Toms. Tonight was NY Strip Roast and I'm stuffed. DIL made a butt ton of sides... Still have butternut squash soup on the stove and pies. Not going to get there tonight.

Mmmmm butternut soup! Can i come for dinner tomorrow? The guys here dont care for it much so i dont make it. But once in a while i get a hankerin..... and have had this one for two weeks now.... i think they are gonna lose soon though cause i got a squash eyeballin me in the veggie basket just waitin.... and it keeps talkin to me... LOUDLY.

Well, Roast that beast! Here's a recipe I have modified... I use a 1/4 cup of local honey, 1 TBS salt, 1 tsp white pepper, 1 TBS cinnamon, 1 tsp ginger 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp chipolte pepper and 1 tsp red pepper flake, and 4 oz cream. Here's the link to the base recipe. You know I always play around with them.
