A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Good to know. I have some terry cloth bar towels I can use. I may just buy some aquarium tubing and feed it into the water tray and put it through the turning-cord slot since that gets turned off and I can use a syringe to add water without opening it up.
some people have been using a Dispensing Needle 14G x 10" https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075H5HQ94/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to add water through the vent.. can get through the bottom mesh... works good for me

I think I know the answer, but wanted to double check with you all in hopes of being pleasantly surprised - My bator is on day 13, and suddenly I have a broody mama on day 2 of setting. When hers hatch, I won't be able to give her the 11 day old bator poults, right?

Agree with Aurora! That turkey/duck pic is adorable!!
Got hot down here! Installed Daisys pen fan for her. Y'all know how much she loves her fan

Hey folks, I have a brooder dilemma... Normally I set turkey and chick eggs same day and add a few week old chicks in with the day old turkeys. I have two brooder cells, but want to run a rolling hatch adding chick eggs every two weeks. Was contemplating adding turkey eggs with the chick eggs but fear that would mean i'd need a 3rd brooder. How do you think a few day old poults would do with a batch of week old chickens?

The mamans and babies got larger digs today and they are happy as clams. The goats have their nosy noses against the fence or are layin all snuggled up against it lol! Been up to check on them several times and they are explorin and escapin... oye! I think i have the escape spots fixed now though.
:love
