Looks like Ralphie decided to share his weather again. It's 21°F with more than 4" of that four letter "s" word. The high winds are causing drifts too.

We have not had any official "s" on the ground yet...BUT the other day the rain drops were pretty heavy solid and white...It was not fun.

It is not getting above freezing again today.

I have to start deciding which Turkeys will not be seeing spring soon...

I have the City folk that stop by here fooled into thinking I have my two old Toms trained...


I yell "gobble" and they of course, gobble.......The city folk are amazed and ask how I trained them to do that...

As a good politician, I simply say, "lots of time and effort".

You are right, it doesn't happen until they are close to being sexually mature.

Burrrrr. The cold has been setting in. 25-30 degrees at night with high in mid 50s. No precipitation. Been like this for a week with another week of it forecasted. Man the autumn colors are really starting to pop. Love this time of year.
