Took a nice walk with the girls this evening. Neighbors stopped to chat. They have an ancient little white poodle they walk each evening. For some reason that old dog & my girls seem to like each other. They will stand side by side....sort of mingle. Dog will sniff what the girls are grazing, and the girls don't care. Usually the girls will move away from any dog. The old dog is dog/cat aggressive, a bit of a jerk . But seems to like the girls. Just an odd relationship.

Maybe that old dog thinks that it's a turkey too and your girls are his flock lol.

My turkey flock is going to grow a lot more than usual this year. I'll definitely have to cut it back in the fall but I'm keeping every penciled poult that I hatch. Seriously though, chick and poult sales REALLY need to pick up soon :/

Aurora, his owners want to get a cat. They've tried twice & the old fart dog attacks them. Tried to talk them into getting turkeys since he seems to like them...

Glad your keeping the penciled! Can't wait to see them with adult feathers! I swear with this wacky weather folks aren't thinking poults/chicks.

Interested to see what Ralph's polka dot grows into.

I am slightly worried about this one. The eyes seem small... or it could be the markings that make them look small.

When I look at the “black Baldy” picture the eye does not seem small... I can see it bulging out on the far side... could just be optical illusion from the weird markings.,
