A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

OMG....we may get snow (flurries) this weekend. It's been hovering around 70 here for the last several days. I'm so bummed.

No major fighting between the girls yet. They are giving each other the evil eye & an occasional peck. Havent had to crack open a beer yet.

I plopped both of them up on the grooming table yesterday. They had both taken baths in their shavings & had junk in their feathers. Like I said, they are easier to groom than the coonhound! But....I have to admit...they are pudgy! Is that common? For them to gain weight in the winter? They free feed and get their evening peck of BOSS, same regime as during the summer. Maybe its middle age spread??

70s?! I'm SO jeolous! We haven't been out of the 20s! It's flurrying right now :hit
I did see a flock of geese fly over the house yesterday morning though so hopefully winter is about to lose its grip on us.

And...I'm wondering if Annie is laying in a nest of her making somewhere. My only clue is my coonhound....and his "gas" issue the last week or so. I need to investigate. He's not normally THAT bad! All speculation on my part....

It's possible! I can't give Sparkles (English bulldog X rottie) anything other than chicken eggs. Turkey, duck and quail eggs give her horrible gas, like clear the room, open the windows a bomb went off kind of gas! :sick

No eggs here yet but turkey love is in the air... At least 2 hens were bred this morning.... and they're different than the one that was bred yesterday

Not sure if you can use this as a glamour shot... maybe if it's cropped

Molpet....perfect saddle color for her! Very on trend! Daisy would be jealous! Did she get used to it pretty quickly?
Aurora....you need to add a "Gallery " of pictures (on your Bling My Bird website!) showing the girls modeling their saddles. How cute would that be??

Ralphie...spring hormones are starting to kick in here at the Convent!! Hasn't come to all out fighting yet....but I've got my beer chilling in the fridge. For those of you who aren't aware....my girls spend a couple days fighting each spring. I find it so stressful that the only thing I can do is hide in the house drinking!
