A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Its shirt sleeve weather here. The sun is shining. There is standing water everywhere since the ground is frozen and it got up to 48°F so far. Of course the wind is having a field day.
It’s shirt sleeve weather here too.. if you go out it shirt sleeves at 10 degrees.

We have water everywhere too. Piled up 4-8 ft piles.

I understand. I tend to wilt when it gets above 75. On the rare occasion it gets above 90 up here I practically melt into a puddle, perfect for marauding guineas to take advantage.

We snowshoe at a game preserve up here when I feel I need punishment. At least it's free.

I need some turkey hens now that I decided to keep my young guy. I just need to figure out an arrangement for housing them for a few weeks of quarantine. Be a lot easier without snow banks in the way. What are you asking?

48 = shirtsleeves? Its 50 here & I have a coat on.
It was 7°F this morning so 48°F in the sunshine felt really good. There is no need for a jacket right now. Of course it hit 111°F in the greenhouse because I got involved with something else and forgot to open the door. Poor pepper plant was wilting. Its okay now.

After weeks of sub-zero temps, I look at the thermometer and see +10 degrees? I don’t bother with my jacket, and coats are for double-digits below. :lol:

Looks like I need to expand the saddle sizes even more....i had someone message me on Etsy, asking me to make one for her broad breasted hen.... This is going to be huge! New template the left, standard heritage turkey template on the right lol
