I have never seen a pure white poult. Did you check the eye color to see if it is an albino? Looks like you will have to run this one by Kevin Porter.Poults are hatching today. I got one that has whiter down than I've ever seen on a poult. Anybody know what that indicates? @R2elk ? I've hatched lots of palms with all yellow down, but this one is so much paler.

She just wanted a nice healthy salad. You provided the greenery, you can't expect her not to partake.Dang Daisy....found her standing in my Japanese Fern bed happily munching away.
The eye color looks dark like all the other ones. When I take it out of the incubator, I will look more closely.I have never seen a pure white poult. Did you check the eye color to see if it is an albino? Looks like you will have to run this one by Kevin Porter.
Esther tried to get away with it, but I told her that one lets the owner/keeper handle their own animals to prevent injuries to everyone. R2elk really doesn't let anyone catch his birds.Congratulations.
Personally, I do not allow anyone other than myself to catch any of my poultry.
Letting them choose which ones they want to test is not the same as letting them catch them. I let people pick out the ones they want to purchase but I do the catching. I have had to teach many how to hold a turkey.I've been told by others here locally that they really don't want the owners "selecting" the birds they test. But I gotta say it was so funny when he picked up the snake. She tore him up and he didn't know what to do. I was really good and didn't laugh out loud. I did take pity on him and grabbed her legs and took her to the tester. He knew how to hold her without getting pecked.
