Thanks Aurora! Neither Daisy or Annie were in the least tame. I'm using the same technique. No pressure, just quietly sitting with them. They will get sick of me!

Babies or not...Daisy was chirping at the back door wanting her walk. Ate her crop full & waddled back to check on the babies. She keeps giving me side eye. Like she trying to figure things out.

We have Kayaks hanging from the rafters in the shed. They have been there since before I moved the turkeys into it...

One of my hens has outdone the 8 ft high nest. She put her nest in the kayak 17 ft up in the air.

She is setting now. She looks around then pulls her head down to hide if we look at her.

If they hatch it will interesting to see how she gets them down.

Can you attach a lid of some sort to keep the poults inside and then lower the not-level kayak? Or maybe borrow a scissor lift?
