A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

We have Kayaks hanging from the rafters in the shed. They have been there since before I moved the turkeys into it...

One of my hens has outdone the 8 ft high nest. She put her nest in the kayak 17 ft up in the air.

She is setting now. She looks around then pulls her head down to hide if we look at her.

If they hatch it will interesting to see how she gets them down.

I am sure you can just go up a ladder and help them out and down. I'm also sure she would be so grateful :lau

What kind of sympathy flowers would you want if you try to help??? :lau Since you'll either be in the hospital or dead.

I would just lower one end as slow as possible and have a soft pile of bedding underneath. Hopefully they will survive the fall

There are six new poults up the hill this mornin. I had put my rp hen out of the room poor thing. She was peckin a bit to hard for my likin to put some under her. She was gentle waitin for them but when they would almost go under peck.

The snake is squattin outside red’s confinement pen. He is all in a tizzy. She wants him do the deed but i am unsure of what to do yet. She really is the only one out still.. the rp went back to the room beside the nest room and sat. So. Since she is squattin should i let him out? Or wait a bit longer?

I'm sure being a good Minnesotan you have fishing nets. Any big enough to spread out under the kayaks?

here is our post op Annabelle, squatting for every moving creature on two legs. I still have her separated, but I'm wondering if I should just let her out now, she will lay eggs regardless of if she gets bred or not, just hoping she doesn't get eggbound again. We think the shell may have gotten adhered to her oviduct before we tried, but no real telling since we didn't cut her open. But no shell pieces were flushed out, nor did I see anything in her poop. She should have just reabsorbed, I hope, but I don't know why she is being a hussy so soon after such a stressful experience.

most fishing nets are 4x4.. the poults would not even slow down as they fell through it..
