OMG! One of our construction supers who just moved to Memphis for a project has two PET tom turkeys! One of my coworkers told him I have pet turkeys too. He asked for my number, told her it's okay to give it to him. So...I got the impression he's trying to set up a date for Daisy. How funny!

One must ponder this longer:old.

I am ot sure which is worse.. havin it be growin a d see it destroyed by the frost or not even havin it in yet. :(. It has been crazy wet so paul couldnt harrow and till. Then when it dried out the dumb harrow broke a d the tiller did too. :(. Guess i will have a very small fall yielding garden this year. I look at my spot amd just pout.
We have been having wet springs for a few years so I gave up tilling. I put down a couple of pickup loads of horse manure, from my cousin, in the fall in one garden. The other garden gets the coop cleanings in the fall. grass or straw and leaves on top. In the spring I dig down just enough and plant. Grass clippings on top of potatoes and around the rest to keep the weeds down.
