A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

Breeding siblings is the quickest way to bring out hidden recessive genes. This can be either good or bad. Only a test breeding will show what the results will be.

Hmm, maybe I'll keep 1 for now. I plan to breed at least the pastel one back to her Dad (Mister) for more similar to them and the remaining penciled girls were going to be bred to Phil (their Uncle). Lil can either go with Mister again like last year since they're totally unrelated or with her son. Not sure yet how that all will work. I just know that I want to cement that penciled gene and have a lot of color variety.

Wish you could find pet homes for the penciled in case you need to ever need to access the genetics again. I'll put a bitch in a home with the understanding she will come back for a litter. Dogs are easy, I can just store seman!
That's an interesting thought R2elk had. A test breeding could be quite informative!

Does the FBI ever become concerned when you are “storing” Seamen?

LOL! Actually it's all being stored off site!
When can I give the poults bits of treats? They have access to grit. They are still in their grower feed. Nothing excessive....maybe a cut up strawberry kinda thing....
Anytime, once they have grit.

While others might disagree, I give treats early on. It brings about desired behaviors or brings out the worst in them which helps determine if their heads will remain connected to their bodies..

Also very smart keeping the Seamen in an undisclosed offsite location. Hopefully, a remote spot where their screams go unheard.

She's cleaning her tail feathers. Crazy patterned feathers!! Doesn't she look like a girl? Tell me looks like a girl!!
