A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I just worry Iris too skinny. She acts fine...just skinny. But then again, I keep comparing them to a hen with middle age spread. Got too hot for flight training. Daisy & Iris are grounded. I think Daisy is a fair weather flyer.
She is a Palm, she will always be smaller than the other two.

Here are a few pictures from this morning of the turkey that I am not sure which gender it is. Sorry, but most of the head shots are blurry.

Hot & dry. All fowl wandering around panting. Taking advantage of every fan & wading pool. Daisy is staying grounded, exerting as little energy as possible. Dog days of summer here!
There is an old blues song with a line that perfectly describes our weather..."Hot, hot, hot, as a coffeepot "!

Daisy is "stout", Poppy is getting huge...so thanks for reminding me skinny Iris will be a smaller bird. My perspective is off. She's so delicate compared to the others. I'm starting to allow some of the neighbors to visit. All of them are fascinated with skinny Iris. They all say how beautiful she is....then point out how big Poppy's feet are. Poor Poppy. I think they are afraid to hurt my feelings.

I'm going to apologize now, I had the camera out again so I have to blow up the thread lol
