Hey, if you go extra fancy, a simple eyelet lace ruffle along with bottom might be cute too... For the really girly girls.
I actually have some lace in a drawer that a neighbor pawned off on me lol

You wouldn’t need to do the whole edge (at least I don’t think you would...). From your photographs it looks like it’s only the middle that shows, between the wings. Maybe there’s a way to start and end with a flourish, or at least increase/decrease the size of the pattern at the beginning & end so it looks like a design decision rather than a way to save thread.Maybe I willif I do, I'll show you all first and see what you all think. It'll use a lot of extra thread though.
Since Osceolas are only native to Florida, I doubt that they are a cold hardy variety.Does anyone know if Osceola turkeys can handle cold temps? I live in Utah and have been given some. They roost and live outside so I’m just curious how they would do in the winter? I have Rio grande turkeys outside as well that they live with. Do you think I will need to shelter the Osceolas during the winter?

I meant on the edge nearest to the tail-feathers, between the wing-tips. But as @memphis said, folks’ll happily pay for that bling. I wouldn’t want to embroider that whole long, curved hem, though... not over & over & over again.Maybe. I couldn't do between the wind as the elastic that goes through there has to be able to slide. Usually, I stuck around the edges for a more study feel but maybe at the very bottom.... Might take some tinkering
I think blinged out turkey gear should retail for more.
PrayersYeah definitely
I just dug out the old Kenmore to sew with. I may not have time to go all out and play with the decorative stuff unfortunately. I need to get as many together as quickly as possible. DH's work has been laying people off. There was a layoff a month or two ago of about 50 people. Then today, there was another, 100 people laid off. DH has managed to dodge both but if there's another one, which it looks like there will be, he probably won't make the cut (they go by seniority). If he gets laid off, I will have to go back to work full time and won't have much time to work on them at all. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!
