There's a sweet grass Jenny out there who, despite no real lapper training, is a real ham. She Yanks my clothing for attention, demands treats, sidles up to me, yet dodges if I try grabbing her. He doesn't tell if I do grab her though, she just bicycles her feet like they do. She does this to strangers, too! She tried stealing rings. She's a shiny seeker.

You'll remember (or learn). I'm working on officially starting a business and OneMountainAcres is going to be the name :)
I filed for an offical farm name.....

If she chases shiny things maybe she thinks she is part magpie? Lol
I love how sweet my turkeys are none of them want held really but they have to be in the middle of anything we do where they can see us.... it's like they are just noisy neighbor always ready to give an opinion but not lend a hand. Still gotta love em

Do we get to know the name? Or do we need to wait until paperwork is approved?

Junior has grown too big for his britches. He sort of attack the WW the other day. She did not put an end to it then.

Today he tried to attack me. The results were not good for Junior.

I immediately swooped him up in my arm and carried him with his head held tight against my side. We sat like that for about ten minutes. Me enjoying our special moments together. Him regretting his foiled attempted attack.

I then went to hold him in a more normal position, he took the loosening of my hold as a signal he should fight to escape. He managed to get a decent right wing or two into my nose and lips..

However, I think I won the match. I held him firmly and spent another 10 minutes holding him and leading his head around by his snood. He did not seem to care for a one sided snood pulling contest.

His head turned a kaleidoscope of pretty colors during this time. When I let him go it was I a less than gentle manner flopping him to his side.

He decided to end the contest then and ran for the barn. I think the worst part for him was his best buddy, the tri-color Jake, that I think is a quad colored Jake, stood and watched his entire humiliation filled ordeal.

The WW and I walked into the barn shortly after this and he kept his distance and was completely respectful.

Nothing I did “hurt” him in anyway other than damaging his pride (placed this disclaimer to forestall action against me by PETAdorks).

I did warn him further negative conduct on his part could result in oven and table time.
