Is he going to have a brown beard?? That hen is beautiful! I love sweet hen faces!

No, his beard is never going to get any bigger. He dressed out at 14 lbs. 2 oz. and has moved on to his new temporary home. It would not surprise me if he is the guest of honor at their Easter dinner.

It is much calmer here in the turkey pen since he has departed.

Rained all day yesterday. Colder. Predicting some kind of "wintery mix" for Thursday. Daffodils blooming like crazy. Early magnolias in bloom. Trying so hard to be spring here. It was so nasty yesterday the girls didn't come out....they stated in their coop.

I planted a goodly amount of bulbs last fall so I'm super excited for spring to come.

DH texted me to let me know that one of the poults is dead. He said it looks like it was eaten out from the vent. I only have 2 left now outside I really hope it wasn't the one that I thought was a girl but all 3 were super friendly. I'm going to have to figure out what happened out there

Possums are ugly little Southie creatures that refuse to return to the south.

I really need to come up with another “poor Daisy” poll. There so much fun.

I asked Holm the other day how DQ was doing. He said “good, but she won’t shut up, She talks all the time”.

I am guessing she is mistreated in her mind, she always found something that wasn’t up to her liking.

I do miss her.
