A century of Turkey talk 2000-2100.

I live alone. I do not use a deodorant. When I did work, I would use a non-scented stick deodorant.

Because it is nearly impossible to find a non-scented bar soap, I now only buy and use the non-scented soaps sold in sporting goods stores for hunters.
I don't have to go as far as unscented everything.
I do use deodorant just not aerosol. 🤣
But no perfumes or sprays or anything like that.
By the time I put that crap in my hair and use deodorant and lotion..
(I have to watch out for those too)
I can't handle anymore without getting a headache.

I can handle these kinds of scents

I had the worst fight with a longtime friend and co-worker about her lotion a few years ago!
She brought this bottle of lotion to work from bath and body works. It was absolutely horrible... Instant headache and sore throat for me.
She would not stop using it around me and thought it was pretty funny that I hated it and thought I was exaggerating and kept trying to wipe it on me. 😖
Seriously. it was not funny. 🥺

It is just like smokers thinking that they don't stink. They absolutely refuse to believe that other's can smell their stink because they have gone nose dead to the smell.

Idiots like your coworker can actually be charged with assault. They have convicted people of assault for putting peanut butter on a victim that is allergic to peanuts.

I can't use most lotions because I am horribly allergic to sunflowers. Most lotions contain sunflower oil that has not been filtered well enough to remove any traces of pollen.

I like the smell of marigolds but I can't bring them in the house without getting a headache.
Same with honeysuckle and lilac..
My two favorite scents in the world but I can't go around huffing them for very long.
After my mother's funeral, the flowers were brought to my house. One of the arrangements had lily buds in it. I woke up in the middle of the night with severe sinus pains and an utterly obnoxious odor in the house. I grabbed the lilies and threw them out in the snow. It took 6 months before my sinuses finally cleared up.

Sorry I would have decked her

I have issues with cleaning products that have ammonia.
Not urine and not anhydrous. But Windex and such. It's not too bad now, but when I was using cow's milk.
At work I kept tossing the ammonia Windex and brought in what didn't bother me. One guy didn't believe me and brought in Windex and sprayed his glasses 3 ft away from me. I got about 100 ft before I passed out. Another guy found me flopping like a fish,he said. By the time the paramedics showed up I was coming around.
First guy felt really bad and got rid of his Windex. He was to big for me to deck , but I sure felt like it

I had a go round with bath and body works lotion and a co-worker years ago... had to take it to the supervisor but the lotion went home with her

Wow I did not know that about the sunflower oil.
I am a smoker, so I know it's kind of dumb that certain scents bother me but yet I continue to smoke 💁
I don't go around pretending that non smoking people can't smell it.. I can smell other smokers.
Especially ones who don't wash their hair often or wear the same jacket all the time.
Are they smoke in their house and in the car and it's in all of their clothes.
Some brands are worse than others. My mom smokes decades and I can smell her the minute she comes in the door.
