Welcome back. You first posted in this thread on July 24, 2016. Your last post in this thread prior to today was July 24, 2017.

I have turkeys off and on, lol. In 2017 it was more Broad Breasted Whites, which I don't have any longer because, well, they were Broad Breasted Whites. With the Midget Whites though maybe I'll have them longer term, haha.

Daddy is still the tri colored mottled slate tom. Hens could be any except Miss Fatty, the slacker. I'm thinking mother is likely the red bronze? The burbon red??

It is due to the interaction of a single red gene.

She doesn't like the boys. My first Blue Slate hen refused to mate with the new tom when I sold her tom. She would not mate with the new tom until the next year.
