I've trapped a bunch of squirrels over the years. And the coonhound is killing his share. There is just so many of them.

Wellll... if the hound doesn't tear 'em up too much, they *are* yummy.

I don't even need a blind. I can walk right up to the... boys. They don't chase easy. Hunting season doesn't start until the 15th, though. They'll probably get real skittish real quick by then.

Looks like it. The state GFP website hasn't changed and our gov hasn't shut down the state. Says if we have much of a peak it won't be until June/July and that's too long for us to stay in quarantine. DH & I are mostly staying home. The nursing homes & etc. are all on lock-down, but I see no reason for the youngers not to stay out and about so long as they have no underlying conditions. This doesn't seem to hurt them more than any other virus. As for hunting, that's a solitary activity for many, or shared with a few family members/close friends. Everything is a risk. People have to live while they're alive.

Our hunting seasons with the exception of spring turkey are in the fall, also it is a fairly solitary activity.

If this keeps up I could see them limiting dux blinds to one person or only people that live in the same home.

If social distancing is still the thing come September.

I figure my only fishing partner this summer will be the WW. She is not going to be a happy little witch..
