My favorite poultry story to tell is about the UPS driver that was afraid of turkeys. He was standing in front of the lilac bush where several turkeys were hidden from his view.

Finished repairing and overhauling the water system for my hatchery setup. The old reservoir kicked the bucket. I now have a fresh free and clean bucket, with a built in lid to keep out dust.........

Any idea about turkeys eating an rotten blue spruce stump? It occurred to me...Will they taste like spruce? No ants or larva I can see.
It blew down 15 or so years ago and has been rotting ever since. Begining of this winter they suddenly started eating it. It was about a foot tall and now it's inches deep hole in the ground.
