Yeah I had it before it went to you. A few hours of rain last night before it switched to snow after dark. I got half the Turkey hens into a coop last night. 12 inches before it quit today. Maybe some lake effect plume tomorrow 2 to 12 inches

Ya hate that rain to snow everything gets covered in ice and makes for heavy wet snow. Already had a few inches on ground that all melted yesterday with ground still frozen so all that water just lying there. Then the rain and wet snow on top of that today. Supposed to get colder so all will freeze and be here for a while. But if it warms up fast it is going to be a wet muddy mess.

Same here, the creek is over it's bank and the bottom land is ice under the snow.

Had unusually warm, dry weather for about 2 weeks, which is 2weeks longer than I want. I like it warm and all, but I need a couple feet of snow to hang around and soak into the ground to break the drought.

aaaaand it is back to abnormally warm weather again. This means I have to keep the horses in way earlier than expected. Grass is going to grow too early. Need MORE WET STUFF. Let us hope the mountains get a good load of snowpack this year or central and eastern MT are HOSED lol.

This is my Narragansett Hen. There is some genetic thing with Narragansetts where some come lighter colored? Would she be a lighter colored one?

In my opinion, your hen is not a pure Narragansett. There is just one color gene difference between a Narragansett hen (bb CC n-) and a Narragansett Semi-Color hen (bb Cc n-). I have not seen any reference photos for this variation.

I hatched her from an egg so didn't have her parents. Pretty sure the farm the eggs came from only had Narragansett turkeys though. If she isnt pure probably just mixed with a white breed?

Mutations do still occur although they are rare.
