LOOKING GOOD
NoHas anyone had any of their turkeys... just lose their voice? It started the other day when my tom couldn't gobble anymore, he would try, make the movement and all, but nothing came out. He also couldn't make his angry noise at my mom like he usually does. I thought it was weird, but there was nothing else wrong with him that I can see. No sinus inflammation, no discharge from eyes/nose/mouth, no sneezing, no coughing... I haven't seen anything that would indicate that he's sick.
Now one of my hens can't yelp anymore. She has lost her voice over the past few days and I don't really know why. She also isn't showing any respiratory signs. The only issue I've had with her is she consistently has issues laying eggs, but I don't think that would change her losing her voice.
I do have a different hen who I've been fighting a sinus lump on her face for months, she's been on tylan 200 earlier in the month, also like 2 months ago after a vet visit, and just recently finished baytril in an attempt to just get rid of whatever is happening with her, but now she's kind of acting like she can't balance well. She walks, but kind of slowly and sometimes she'll reach a wing out to catch herself. Her poop also has yellow urates, I'm thinking maybe dehydration. But she doesn't have any voice issues. It's so weird, because only those other 2 are showing the same symptoms (the loss of voice), and this hen who is sick is not sharing any other symptoms with them. It's so frustrating!!!
