BrookKit had trudged through the snow, chased by foxes, attacked by weasels, and almost carried off by an owl. Pack at her back, she had continued on, she now stopped, exhausted. She made a burrow in the snow, at the meager food in her back and fell asleep. Suddenly she heard something unlike anything she had ever hear, although BrightFlight had tought her about them, Dogs. She almost yelled in terror but chewed on her paw instead. But the dog continued howling , then suddenly a twoleg came, luckily he had snowshoes on, so he did not step into BrookPaw's den. BrookPaw immediatly found out what she needed to do, make a tunnel under the snow, until she was a safe distance away. And so she did, at top speed she dug until she could not hear the barking anymore. Exhausted at this she fell into a deep sleep, not to wake up until late the next evening.
