He pulled himself together, "I, uh, I'm-- I'll tell her." He said, nodding and cracking a fake smile for a brisk second before running to StarryNight. "Starry," He called, "Mmm?" She asked, gulping her last bite. "Moonstar wishes to have you watch her chicks a bit longer, she must leave-- somewhere." She nodded, "Gladly."

Moon semi waved and turned to follow Ribbon.

 

[BirdNut]

The jade bird's golden eyes grimly gazed upon the scene as they walked away, "Hmmm," He grumbled, "Bad things always seem to happen to good people." He said as he shook his head in dismay.

 

[Gerbil]

The chicks stood, Ember looked at Starry questioningly.

She looked back down at him, "Is something the matter, Ember dear?"

 

[Gerbil]

"Where's momma go'in?"
Dawn looked at Fire, fire looked at Ember, he kept staring at Starry.

"Your mommy, I am not sure of where she is going, but she said she'd be back soon." She answered, then glanced over the forest, an eyebrow cocked.

 

[Gerbil]

"Um, can I swim?"

Dawn pushed him, "Mom said no! You can't even swim!!"
"Can too!" he pushed back.
Dawn looked stunned for a moment the swished back wing to whack him but ended up smacking Fire on the beak.
"Ow!!!" Fire fell on his butt, "Oww!!!!"

"NO!!" Dawn looked at Starry, "He doe--"
Fire tackled Dawn, Ember burst out in giggles.
