A few rules to live by with chickens....

I'm not big on wearing jewelry but I can add that you shouldn't wear anything at all around turkeys because they will taste whatever you have on. I guess in that case it may be better to skip the turkeys all together since they just seem to like to bite.

I was going to say all of the above applies to turkeys as well! But my turkey is extremely drawn to the SEAM of my JEANS... and it's never anywhere but directly in the middle of the backside!!

He's got a wicked sense of humor, I tell ya. I don't even know why they bother calling it "getting goosed".

TOo funny- here is mine:

Do not allow hens to stand behind you, in shorts, admiring your flowers/vine tattoo on your calf...heh heh...especially if you are holding cup of coffee.

Here's mine...don't squat down to pet younger chickens or they will peck and pull at the back of your shirt/shorts and tear little holes in them!

One more...don't squat down to pet younger chickens if you have a small mole on your upper arm or they will peck it and make it bleed (over and over and over and over....)

My rule?

Don't sit down in a patio chair, without checking it for "presents."

Here's mine. When a pullet that loves to sit in your lap slowly creeps up your stomach, onto you chest with a VERY suspicious look on her face, be sure to close your eyes before she "investigates" your eyelashes.
It hurts but the confused look on her face as she goes flying through the air is SO funny (even if its a little mean to hit chickens, you just can't help to laugh).

Yea been there done that except I was bending over to pick up something in the run and my tatoo is on my lower back!! Two of my girls thought it was the prettiest flower they had ever seen and tried to take a bite!! OUCH!!
