Brinley Maren laughed at Alana's joke and then dismounted off of BB and untracked her. Having never used hobbles before, Brinley let Eliza help her put them on BB's front legs.

Alyssa dismounted from Jet. she grabbed the hobbles and watched Eliza do it. she tried to mimic the exact movements but failed. "um, Eliza? can you help me?"

"lunch at midnight?" Eliza laughed. "Don't mind if I do. I packed a few sandwiches in your saddle bags. We'll make those last till higher ground where dad has traps set in the river for fish. There should be plenty to eat there if we build a fire."

"Yum, fish! i can cook it, if we catch any. My dad taught me how." she took off her small drawstring backpack and took out a ziplock bag full of trail mix. "anyone want some?"

That's good because I have no idea how to cook fish. I honestly don't even like eating it, but like Nicole said, at least it is something to eat.

Eliza smiled and laid down on her bed. She looked up at the stars and the full moon shining bright. "Oh. And we'll look for signs of the mustangs starting in the morning." She yawned, then quickly dozed off.
