That is absolutley beautiful. I live on 5 acres and it is not nearly enough. It was when I got it, but now I am older, scared of the current political situation, and I am wanting to farm and ranch more. I wish I had your place, only down here, where it is warmer.

Now the part that I dislike the most ; packing and moving! Good Luck with that too!

We are definitely repainting the rooms (even though some of the colors we don't mind... we're never going to have the chance again to paint it without moving furniture and stuff. We're also going to repaint the kitchen cabinets... I'm just not much for bright white. Tomorrow we're putting insulation in the attic and putting down some plywood so I can use the attic for some storage (and hopefully cut back on the heating bill), along with scrubbing walls and the cupboards (and putting down new contact paper in the cupboards). If we get time we'll patch holes and start with the primer. Eventually I want to re-do all the trim in the kitchen (the rest of the house has beautiful oak trim and I'd like the kitchen to be the same) and replace the countertop , as well. Those will both have to be later on down the road.
Anyway, I have errands to run and some things to do to get ready for our work party tomorrow afternoon!

We got a lot done yesterday. The bedrooms have all been primered and are ready to be painted and we've started taking down the border in the bathroom and primering the hallway. Some of the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen now have nice new contact paper in them. The guys got started on putting insulation in the attic. My DH got all the door locks changed over so now we have just 1 key for all the house doors and the garage.
I'm taking a couple of days off this week and DH's work schedule (swing shift) has him off in the middle of the week), so we're hoping to get a bunch more done. I can't wait until we get to the point where we can move in and stay!
