Yep, this is the first house - we've been renting. You're correct about the wedding, too! We just got married in June!

Fantastic...brings back memories of when we saved and looked for our first house...All the best my dear...cant wait to hear about the insides of the house..and what you have planned....and remember it all takes time...I'll be keepin' an eye on this thread...by the way I am also the type of person that likes to work around the yard in privacy...exspecially when I dont have a shower and I am wearing my P.J's ....I am happy I have a dog that likes to tell me when someones coming up the drive so i can run and get changed...

Thanks! I'll probably post pictures as soon as I can get inside to take some! I keep trying to make up my mind on paint colors so we can get moving on that right away. It's really hard to decide on paint when it has been months since I was last inside the house!

Lol... EXACTLY! Where we live now I go out to feed the chickens in my PJ's sometimes and this house is way out in the open. I find myself hiding when I hear a car coming!

Ooooh! You are so lucky- 42 acres! We just moved to a property with 1 acre and I'm just happy we have a little forest! Our old property was about 0.017 or something...

you have been Blessed its beautiful. and all that land WOwww
Brings back thoughts of when we got our place .
thats a great feeling and I wish you and your Dh
the Best,And may God continue to Bless you.

Thank you!!!

I'm going crazy... we're waiting for an answer from the seller's realtor (as usual, she isn't returning phone calls). We need to know if she ever had the septic re-inspected after they fixed the plumbing problem or it may hold up the closing a bit.

I've been talking to the seller some and she's trying to round up the $18,000+ they have to pay at closing! Yikes! I feel bad for her and her husband. They have to cash out part of his 401K to pay this money.

It's been snowing a lot lately. Here's the house covered in snow (check out the picnic table...)
