Reed glanced behind Mink and met Shadow's gaze. The look he saw startled him briefly. "She could kill you" his subconscious mind warned him. "She was born to kill coyotes, and she's been holding back all night." This caused a wave of adrenaline to pump into his blood, but it only served to sharpen his senses.
"You're right Mink." He growled smoothly, his stance not changing, but his voice as smooth and cold and ice. "Shadow has a grip on her emotions. She knows better than to attack her own mate - and Beta," he added, for good measure. "What I choose to do with this pup is my business, and you are in no position to question it. Now, prove to me that the brain in your head isn't totally covered in moss and go. Home."

Shadow allowed her face to change as Mink hurled insults at Reed - she wasn't any happier with him than she was. She saw Reed look back at her when Mink mentioned her, and met his gaze with a stern, angry look. "You know I could beat you in a fight easy, right?" She silently growled at him.

And also, any peeps who want Rip Beta? I (personally, ignore this) think that considering Reed and Owl's history of working together, that Owl HAS to at least fight (@HeavensHens88), and Cluck, Flame's just gotta fight too.

Owl is seriously considering it.

@RoostersAreAwesome has been here for a while and doesn't have any important ranks. Scar would also be an ideal choice.... but Owl is vital in Reed's plans.... ARRRRRRGH.
