>~* A Howl At Midnight>~* A FORGOTTEN DOGS ROLEPLAY!

Onyx snarled, leaping on the downed Hollyshadow, burying his teeth into the ribcage of Hollyshadow, in an attempt to break them and pierce her heart. While he did feel bone break, that gave no obvious note to how serious the interior damage was.

Hollyshadow howled, feeling a snap from her ribcage. She paused, going limp, trying to fool Onyx.

Slick exploded out of the bushes, the broad white patches on his fur flashing like drifts of unmelted snow. He slammed his open jaws into Hollyshadow's other side, shoving her into Onyx and thus furthering the damage already done. He adjusted his grip on her side, latching onto a patch of loose skin, then shook his head wildly, ripping off massive clumps of fur and leaving deep gashes in her side.
Stormcloud, who had somehow mastered the ability to teleport, rushed out of the brush and tackled the nearest rogue, snarling angrily. His gaze darted to Squirrelflight, as if to say, Help me out here!

Rocket nodded quickly. "Yes, Beta." she woofed softly, trotting away towards the den. When she reached the den, she stuck her head inside. "Brindlepup?" she yipped, staring into the darkness as her eyes adjusted.
Brindlepup's head popped out of a bundle of bedding."That Rocket?" She asked, her question cautious, but her tone suggesting she wasn't at all worried.

Jade quietly stepped out. She wasn't ready for her resolution. It wasn't the right time. But she needed to know what was happening. So she ran to Reed, stopping ten bounds away, watching him. What was he doing? Jade was a shadow, green eyes staring into the darkness like the gem she had named herself after.

Onyx growled confidently, killing Nighthawk with a swift but devastating bite to her neck, crunching bone in the process. Good, Forest was here to help. He would've chuckled, but instead he snorted ominously and headed for Squirrelflight, bloodthirst shining in his eyes like the devil's jewelry.
Nighthawk's neck splintered and the last command her body heeded was to cease a heartbeat.
She went out without a whimper.

"NOOOO!"Hollyshadow's screech sounded aloud as she dropped to her nee's."Nighthawk!"

Squrrielflight snarled, her ears flat against her head, Her deadly jaws curled back, her green eyes glittering."How dare you kill her, You flea ridden, Notail pet mange pelt's!"She howled. Her head swung around, looking for any help, Star stood, frozen to the ground, and Merlin was curled around her pup, while the others where screeching just outside the camp.
Forest sidled up alongside Squirrelflight as she gave herself to perfect vulnerability while searching for backup. "The really ironic thing is," she hissed into Squirrelflight's ear, "is that the closest thing to a pet here, my dear, is you." With that, she buried her teeth into the twitching ear and, using her shoulder musculature, threw Squirrelflight's head to the ground in a move so easily made lethal with one correct snap.

Tyler skirted through the boggy woodlands, his paws lifting high in a gate so even it was supernatural. His thick fur prickled with unease. He'd smelled dissent on the wind- the form of dissent only justified by innocent blood.
And today, that innocent blood was laced into everything that comprised these territories.
His stark blue eyes probed the slope before him as he came up on the highest wooded rise that bordered the far east corner of the renegade coyote pack. There were so many things out of place, and not just visually. By the scent of it, a border patrol hadn't come by here for nearly half a moon.
And there was that unnatural wailing. He perked a keen ear, his left paw rising along with it. It rose and fell like the most battered waves, drawing up smaller cries as it fell back to silence.
There were multiple canines in pain. Whether it was physical or emotional, even his ears, the ears that very well could be the most sensitive out of hundreds of canines, couldn't decipher.
He turned to race away, to return to the sheltering shadows that had welcomed him without mortal discrimination of his cowardice for moon after moon.
He paused.
He'd run away for so long. He'd skirted companionship, avoided responsibility, and claimed the prize of boundless solitude time and time again. He'd fled from his shaded past and therefore narrowly avoided a clear future every time he'd neared a pivotal turning point.
No dog could run forever.
Nor could a wolf.
Tyler tucked his forepaws up and flew down the slope in an urgent gallop.

(Canyon pack)
Lickpup shivered, Iron and Redfern were obviously upset. Though Redfern seemed to be more angry than Iron. Low snarls emanated from their throats, then they would reply to the other`s words in a low angry whisper. Dust also seemed to know something but he wasn`t upset- more curious. Her hackles raised, what was it they heard, or scented on the wind?
~
Dust cocked his head towards the thin woods that had that distinct scent that came from it. He closed his eyes to focus more. The scent was- of what he could gather from scent- of two Rip packers and a canyon packer, all female, two pups and one adult. One of the pups was Dotpup, no doubt about it. He opened his eyes and turned his head to Redfern and Iron "Both of you shut up, your scaring the pup. And you have no evidence that the scent is of a intruder."

Streak, noticing the commotion, trotted over. He couldn't smell anything irregular, but it was obvious that these three did. "What is it?" He woofed quietly, his gaze flickering over the scared-looking pup.

Redfern looked over at him "We smell intruders, Rip packers. At least three of them. Streak, one of them is the one I saw kill Sunrise. I`ll never forget her scent."
~
Dust trotted up to the three "Correction, One may have killed Sunrise, but one of them- from the scent- seems to smell of Canyon pack."
