>~* A Howl At Midnight>~* A FORGOTTEN DOGS ROLEPLAY!

( HevensHens88 you write books? )Water walked around the camp. Seeing Breeze she walked up to her. "Hello," she said. "How are you?"
(She has a copyright on The Forgotten Dogs, just hasn't published it yet. ;))

Reed dropped Dotpup at his mate's feet. "I found her following the Howl Patrol." He growled, giving the pup a warning glare. "She's from Canyon pack, I need you two to keep her from escaping."

~Mink looked up at Reed in astonishment, then her eyes flickered to the cowering pup, all half-formed contradictions melting on her tongue as she saw the pup was utterly terrified. "Oh, come here," she muttered gently, placing her paw over the quivering pups' shoulders. "It's okay now." Her eyes narrowed as the indistinct crashing of undergrowth rose up again in the distance. "Beta, who's that?"~

(Sarah, ignore last post and reply to this. We can say Jasper had already been trekking for a while and Opal's already eaten and is just awake during the night slash dusk) Opal laid down on the bank of the stream sadly. She imagined her pack, full of smaller and quicker coyotes like her, roaming somewhere across the desert. How she wanted to find them. But she realized she would never find them alone, and that she would never have a mate or a friend of her species. And while Flint was a good friend, the only coyote who had won her heart and still held it was Jasper. Why did she leave...well it was to search for her species. But that didn't happen, and now she was empty handed, away from her real packmates and Jasper, in the remote wilderness. And she knew she would survive fine, but she knew she would probably never have a mate that would suit her, and she didn't want to change her standards because of desperation. And that's when she smelled a different scent in the air, as soon as her first tear had formed in her eye. It was a coyote, she had smelled it before, she thought. And it wasn't Flint. She looked up in anguish at the thought of a Rip Pack male trying to hunt her down or even kill her.

Reed nodded approvingly. " probably the rest of Tue canyon pack trespassers." He growled. "If they come, ditch the pup and come find the howl patrol."
Shadow stepped closer to her mate, locking eyes with him. Reed gazed back, resisting the terrible urge to look away. "I know, if you stayed you could fight them all and win." He woofed.
Shadow sighed and sat back down, reaching over to sniff the pup. "You'd better catch up with the patrol before Alpha wonders were you went." She barked.
Reed gave Shadow an affectionate lick on the ear. "I love you." He whispered, before wheeling around and trotting out of camp.

Fluffpup stalked into camp a few paces behind Brokenpup, the bat flapping its wings halfheartedly.
