Hi! I inherited a black chicken with green/blue sheen from the previous owners of my home. She's the most outgoing of my chickens (compared to Salmon Faverolle) and is pretty unafraid of most things. I'd love to know what she is because she's gorgeous and her chicks are quite robust. I've asked other groups and no one seems to know since there seem to be a few breeds like her.

She's black from comb to toe and her skin appears to be black as well. Her eggs are slightly darker than my SF eggs.

I've attached pics of her and her eggs compared to an SF egg.

Thanks so much for the help!

How many eggs are you getting from her? Based on what I've read Ayam Cemani are sporadic layers, and I've had some Svart Hona who were 3ish eggs a week.

Could also be a fibro X ' good brown egg layer' cross

She's a pretty consistent layer but doesn't seem to be broody at all.
