when my son was in preschool they had this rule too. I cant afford to buy that many. He also needed a prescription for EVERYTHING. Even for lotion because his hands were chapped from the constant hand washing, a prescription! Ever try to get a prescription for lotion!

I can see it now, "the big cupcake scandal of 2009," the reason food consumption of any kind was banned in public schools. Nah, I think that it would be better if we went back to singing "Ring My Bell."
