A moment of mourning for the passing of an era

I have WHAT in my yard? :

OK everybody - grow up now!

Anyone who looks at schools works at schools or has any sense of decency knows that there are good parents and bad parents
there are great teachers and some who are not so great
there are wonderful administrations and some who suck eggs.

This is what is known, in the vernacular, as life.

This is also why the post about knee jerk emotional reactions was so spot on. There are many many things in this world that I disagree with. Does everyone need to know I disagree? No!

While I think all of the world is entitled to my opinion I do not deign to grant it to all simply because there is often no point.

On the other hand, if you wish to change something then by all means address it! Don't moan groan and complain - address the issue with the correct people. Do not complain unless you have a viable alternative. Do not bash unless you can solve.

And always remember what my wise friend told me: "Seriously? You are simply not that important." And get over yourself!

Everyone go home and have a cupcake!

May I reiterate - grow up now y'all.

Jeez, what's next, outlawing a school car wash

Be careful at car washes being run by kids.

A guy I know took his mother's car to a church car wash and apparently the kids were throwing wash rags at each other while waiting for customers. Innocent fun but the dropped rags picked up pieces pf gravel and nobody, including the supervising adults, had the presence of mind not grind the gravel loaded rags all over his mother's car.

It got scratched up pretty good and the only thing keeping him from suing for a paint job was that it was his church.
