I went to the Northwoods Poultry Show in WI this last weekend and got some great pictures of the different birds there! It was a nice little show with an exceptional junior class - some really outstanding birds from the youth. Plus, how often do you see a nonbearded silkie on champion row??

What a lovely nonbearded! I feel like it's not too often you get to see the wattles on a silkie, it makes the blue and mulberry face really stand out.

Gorgeous leghorn bantam, as always. They're such majestic little guys.

Rhode Island Red bantams are a huge thing here in WI! Nice to see a good heritage breed in the bantams.

Can't forget the waterfowl either! So many white calls... It was good practice though, because waterfowl are really not my strong suit for judging, so I learned a lot.

Two almost identical white wyandottes took both American classes in the open show. Just stunning birds. They were just as white in person!
