Sierra sat alone on the bus, thinking. She wondered where they were going.

Austin had been awake, listening to everyone. She sighed quietly and opened one eye. The dim lights of the bus hurt her eyes. They lighted on Chris and stayed there. She watched him with an absent curiosity.
